Pricing

How much do you charge?

We charge $20.00 per minute of audio for standard transcription. Timestamping is optional and costs an additional $0.25 per minute. Translation of the transcription is available, but it is not included in this pricing. Please specify in the notes section when placing your order, and a sales rep will contact you with specifics about the translation service. We round up all audio to the nearest whole minute.

What is the turnaround time?

The turnaround time varies depending on the length of the video. Once you place your order, our sales rep will contact you with the approximate turnaround time. Usually, files under 60 min. are delivered within 1-2 business days.

Do you provide timestamps?

We provide the option of timestamps every minute of audio for an additional $0.25 per minute. If you’d like a different time length, please make note of it in the comments section when placing your order. Additional fees may apply if requesting timestamps for under 30 second intervals.

Can you transcribe files with multiple speakers?

Absolutely! We will make note of the speaker on the transcription using generic titling, such as: “Speaker 1”, “Speaker 2”, etc. Sometimes it may not be easily discernible between the different speakers. If that is the case, we will let you know ahead of time.

Can you provide translation of the transcription?

We can provide translation of the transcription, however it is not included in the $20.00/minute rate. For this service, please make note in the comments section which language(s) you want to translate the transcription into, and one of our sales reps will reply to you with a price quote.

Transcription Process

What file formats do you accept?

We accept MP3, M4A, AMR, MP4, MOV, WMA, WMV, AVI, OGG and WAV. We can also accept streaming videos on the web. Please provide the link to the video(s) in the comments section if this is the case.

What if my file is in a format you don’t accept?

There are some programs online you can use to convert your file to one that we accept. If you do a search online, you may be able to find a free one to use.

How do you ensure quality?

All of our transcribers are professional and must go through a screening process prior to being hired. Rest assured, your transcriptions will be done professionally and securely.

In what format will I receive my transcription?

All transcriptions are delivered in Microsoft Word format. If you require a different format, please make a note in the comments section and our sales rep will let you know if we can handle it. Additional charges may apply.

Customer Support

Where is my order?

Some transcriptions may take longer than normal if it is a long file, poor audio quality, or many speakers on one file. If you order is taking longer than expected, please contact the sales rep and they will be able to provide you with an updated delivery time.

My transcription has some minor errors, what can I do?

While we strive for 100% accuracy, sometimes there may be one or two spelling mistakes or minor errors sprinkled throughout the transcription. If that is the case, the fastest and easiest solution would be to make the edits yourself. If, however, you notice more than a few mistakes, please contact our sales rep and we will make the necessary corrections.
